Piper

Model

Piper TTS is an open-source text-to-speech model developed within the open-source community. The model combines the VITS architecture with conditional variational autoencoders and adversarial training. This approach is designed with an emphasis on fast local synthesis under low computational demands. The architecture directly links text analysis with spectrogram generation for a more natural sound output. The system supports dozens of languages, including Slovak.
